Full job description
Center for Vascular Medicine is currently seeking an experienced RVT/RVS to join our team of friendly and dedicated professionals. The Vascular Sonographer performs non-invasive, diagnostic imaging to evaluate the circulation and functions of the Arterial and Venous Systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess and interview patients scheduled for Vascular Ultrasound examinations to determine indications and appropriateness of the procedure.
Explain Vascular procedures/studies to patients.
Acquire and analyze data obtained for the following ultrasound procedures:
- Pelvic Venous/IVC Imaging for evaluation and diagnosis of Pelvic Congestion Syndrome – ***Applicants with OB/GYN & General Ultrasound registry holders in addition to RVT/RVS are strongly encouraged to apply.
- LE Arterial Duplex
- Standard/Stress ABIs
- LE Venous for Insufficiency and DVT
- Venous for DVT
- Provide high quality diagnostic images
- Other activities and responsibilities as directed.
Required Education and Experience:
- Successful completion of a Vascular Technology/Sonography program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
- At least 3 years of experience as a Vascular Tech.
- ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS) registry credential.
- Knowledge of ICAVL (Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories) policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Computer literacy.
- Strong organizational, interpretational, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal & Communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
