Position Highlights :
As Division Chief, you will lead a dedicated team of five pediatric geneticists, two advanced practice providers, eight genetic counselors, two metabolic dieticians, and a metabolic nurse. You will drive innovation, collaboration, and excellence in a multidisciplinary setting providing care for all genetic and metabolic conditions including congenital anomalies, genetic syndromes, inherited genetic and metabolic disorders, lysosomal storage diseases, mitochondrial disorders, neuromuscular conditions, cardiac genetic syndromes, connective tissue disorders, and inherited cancer syndromes affecting children.
Responsibilities Include :
- Providing clinical support through consult service activities and outpatient ambulatory clinics
- Advancing faculty development in leadership, academic, and clinical roles
- Educating and mentoring residents and medical students
- Engaging in educational and research opportunities with the new Charlotte campus of Wake Forest University School of Medicine
