Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations
- Assist in daily food preparation and meal service.
- Follow established procedures and protocols for kitchen operations.
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to planned menus.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met, including proper food storage and handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area before and after each meal.
Food Inventory and Ordering
- Assist with monitoring kitchen inventory and restocking supplies as needed.
- Organize food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient operations.
- Minimize waste by following portion control and proper storage guidelines.
Compliance and Safety
- Follow health and safety regulations, including ServSafe guidelines.
- Maintain proper documentation related to food safety and sanitation as directed.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to the Kitchen Supervisor.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with basic record-keeping related to kitchen operations.

Experience and Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 13 years of experience in food services or a related field preferred.
- ServSafe certification required or ability to obtain for continued employment.
