The Center for Women and Families - Therapist (Full Time)
Together, our mission is to disrupt the cycle of intimate partner and sexual violence. Do you want to join us in making a difference in the lives of people surviving power-based violence? The Center for Women and Families is looking for warm, caring, and empathetic individuals driven by a desire to help others! The Therapist role helps to move toward our vision of thriving survivors in safe communities.
The Center for Women and Families provides free services to people of all identities who have experienced intimate partner and sexual violence. We help our clients and their dependent children become survivors through trauma-informed advocacy. Our goal is to mitigate the impact of their trauma by reducing their risk factors and building resiliency. We serve anyone in Jefferson, Bullitt, Spencer, Shelby, Oldham, Henry, and Trimble counties in Kentucky and Floyd and Clark counties in Indiana.
The Therapist is responsible for facilitating individual, group, and family counseling with survivors of intimate partner and / or sexual violence, including children, adolescents, and adults, using solution-focused, brief, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
