Job Overview:
The Operations & Business Development Manager will work closely with, and under the direction of, the VP of Operations & Business Development. This remote role ensures clinical, regulatory, and accreditation compliance, supports clinic operations and training, and promotes HBO therapy. Key responsibilities include analyzing market trends, building relationships with health organizations, optimizing workflows, and maintaining safety and HIPAA standards. Up to 75% travel is required. The ideal candidate will reside in West Texas or Colorado.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Support CFWH leadership to ensure clinical, regulatory, and accreditation compliance at wound centers and mobile units.
- Conduct regular audits and develop action plans to address non-compliance or inefficiency in collaboration with the VP of Operations & Business Development.
- Assist with clinic operations, including patient care, management, and administrative tasks during transitions or absences, ensuring continuity.
- Analyze market trends and provide insights to the VP of Operations & Business Development to expand clinic services.
- Build relationships with health organizations, hospital systems, and referring providers to enhance the reputation of advanced wound healing and HBO therapy programs.
- Lead initiatives to educate stakeholders on the benefits of HBO therapy, boosting awareness and referrals.
- Provide tactical support for clinic openings, expansions, and relocations as directed.
- Collaborate with clinical and insurance teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Support HR & Training with new hire onboarding and staff training.
- Propose process improvements, new treatment modalities, or operational changes to enhance program performance.
- Analyze clinic performance reports with the VP of Operations & Business Development to identify improvement areas and create action plans.
- Assist in executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote wound and HBO services.
- Contribute to company-wide growth by proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending strategies.
- Manage HBO-related administrative tasks, including Sechrist Software tasks, monthly training topics, and supporting CHT renewals.
- Oversee safety-related responsibilities, such as annual updates to safety posters, the HBO safety manual, and monitoring Safety Directors and Preceptors.
- Provide hands-on HBO training for new hires and existing staff as needed.
- Facilitate meetings as directed by the VP of Operations & Business Development.
- Responsible for thorough and accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system in timely manner according to organizational policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Consistently adheres to company, hospital, and accrediting body clinical, safety, and compliance standards.
- Ensures compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) by safeguarding patient information and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements for This Role:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field.
- Currently Licensed EMT with national registration.
- Valid Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) certification.
- 2 years of experience working in an outpatient clinic as a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT).
- 1 years of experience in a marketing or sales type role in the healthcare industry.
- Experience in healthcare management and operations.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with referring providers.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams toward achieving organizational goals.
- Valid Driver's License with positive driving history.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from approved agency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or related systems.
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Wound Expert and/or Intellicure preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive market research, develop efficient systems, optimize processes, and generate detailed reports.
- Motivated to work independently and effectively prioritize workload.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to treat others with compassion and patience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications for This Role:
- Hyperbaric Safety Director experience and/or certification.
Travel:
This position requires frequent ground and/or air travel, up to 75% of the time.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an Operations & Business Development Manager to successfully perform the essential competencies, duties, and requirements of this position. These include standing, walking, driving, lifting up to 50 pounds and sitting for extended periods of time and looking at a computer screen for extended periods of time. In addition, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting and shifting heavy objects, as well as air travel, may be required. Employees should ask for assistance if needed.
