What are the responsibilities and job description for the CTE - Education and Training Teacher position at Center ISD?
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Developing student's academic skills through vocational courses of study and implementing
system approved curriculum. Provide students with appropriate learning activities and
experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social
growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree from accredited university preferred
Valid Health Science Technology Certification as prescribed by the Texas State Board of Educator
Certification
Current licensure, certification or registration by a nationally recognized accrediting agency as a
health professions practitioner
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of subject assigned
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Two years of full-time wage earning experience as a health professions practitioner utilizing one
or more of the licensure(s) required for practice in a specific health profession preferred
