Job Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing compassionate care and educating patients about their medical and psychiatric conditions.
- Resolving pending issues from the previous shift, such as missed or incomplete labs or treatments.
- Conducting compliance audits related to infection control.
- Managing medication storage and supplies.
- Monitoring lab orders and tracking outside consults.
- Coordinating admission workflows and level of care transfers in AVATAR.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in Practical Nursing or equivalent as per state law.
- Licensure to practice in the State of Maryland.
