Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within our Day Habilitation Programs, ensuring the well-being of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Administer medical treatments, medications, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Utilize your expertise in long term care, memory care, and primary care settings to address diverse healthcare needs.
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical imaging, ICD-9 coding, spinal tap procedures, and lifting techniques for patient mobility.
- Apply your knowledge of anatomy and Cerner electronic health records system to enhance patient care outcomes.
Experience:
- Must hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Massachusetts.
- Completion of Continuing Education Units (CEU) to maintain nursing licensure is essential.
- Ability to meet background requirements set by funding agencies.
