What are the responsibilities and job description for the ALTA Program Coordinator position at Center of Life?
The ALTA Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall management, vision, and success of all aspects of Center of Life's (COL) ALTA (Aspiring Leaders Teen Academy) Program. COL's ALTA Program exists within a broader comprehensive approach to engaging families, public and private schools, and community partners to ensure that all students enrolled in COL programming reach their highest potential and receive the support, enrichment, and future exposure they need to thrive. The ALTA Program Coordinator is responsible for primarily for ensuring that the cohort's operations are in place to ensure high-quality program delivery. This includes oversight of all day-to-day logistics; recruiting, retaining, and developing a high-quality staff; supporting the Education Programs Manager on the implementation of program curriculum; and fostering relationships with the students, families, and community at large - to include potential employers or work experience opportunities for ALTA students. The Program Coordinator is responsible for creating an engaging, innovative, and learning-focused atmosphere that promotes discovery and leverage of students' natural aptitudes toward the individual's success. The Program Coordinator supports compliance with all delivery of services to the educational, ethical, and legal standards as well as to the core values and mission of COL.
The position is currently part-time (25 hours/week and 40 hours/week during summer camp) with the potential to eventually be a full-time position.
