Job Summary:
- Oversees the daily operations of the Recovery Center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality treatment services to patients.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates program policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and agency policies.
- Maintains accurate records and reports, including participant demographics, treatment outcomes, and program metrics.
- Recruits, trains, and supervises program staff, including counselors, and support staff.
- Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, and develops plans for staff development and improvement.
- Addresses staff conflicts, resolves issues, and maintains a positive work environment.
- Covers for staff when they are absent to ensure continuity of services.
- Coordinates patient admissions, assessments, and treatment planning.
- Supervises counselors and support staff to ensure open communication and effective teamwork.
- Facilitates treatment groups to support participant recovery.
- Educates residents on essential life skills for living in recovery.
- Identifies and mitigates risks to program participants, staff, and the organization.
- Investigates incidents, conducts root cause analyses, and develops plans to prevent similar incidents.
- Demonstrates fiscal responsibility by operating within budgetary parameters.
- Maintains relationships with community partners, including healthcare providers, social service agencies, and recovery support organizations.
- Prepares and submits reports to funding agencies, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
- Manages facility operations, including inventory management, supply ordering, and housekeeping tasks.
- Maintains a clean and orderly facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Must be certified as an Addiction Counselor from a State of California Accredited Institution, such as CCAPP, CAADE, or CADTP.
- Master's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role in a residential treatment setting, with a proven track record of effective leadership and team management.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and agency policies governing residential treatment facilities.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other relevant software.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
- Experience with program development and implementation.
- Familiarity with local community resources and organizations.
- Valid CPR/ First Aid
- TB clearance

- Ability to pass and maintain criminal justice security clearance
