About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified SUD/AOD Supervising Counselor to join our team at Center Point, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising AOD Counseling staff and ensuring contract compliance.
Responsibilities
The Supervising Counselor will be responsible for:
- Supervising AOD Counseling staff;
- Providing staff performance evaluations and applicable coaching and training;
- Supervising and assisting with participant orientation and intake;
- Reviewing and approving treatment plan development;
- Tracking participant attendance;
- Providing training, oversight, and monitoring of all program data, including ARMS, to ensure contract compliance;
- Coordination, generation, and data interpretation of various reports.
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a working knowledge of SUDT programs and meet one of the following minimum requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a social service-related field and one year of experience providing SUDT services as a certified AOD Counselor, at a responsibility no less than a Counselor III;
- An Associate's Degree in a social service-related field and two years of experience providing SUDT services as a certified AOD Counselor, at a responsibility no less than a Counselor III;
- Three or more years of experience providing SUDT services as a certified AOD Counselor, at a responsibility no less than a Counselor III.
