Content Summary : Videographer at Hamilton, for Center Pointe Christian Church
JOB SUMMARY
The Videographer is responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content that tells compelling stories and supports the mission of Center Pointe Christian Church. As part of the Creative Arts Team, this role enhances the weekend experience and ministry events by creating informative and persuasive video content. The ideal candidate can manage projects from concept to completion, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where project requirements and creative approaches may vary.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Weekend Experience and In-house Ministries
- Plan, shoot, and edit video content for events, services, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging visual stories.
- Manage video production from concept to final delivery.
Produce content to a targeted length / deliverable format.
Organize and archive video footage for easy access and reuse.Stay updated on industry trends and techniques for continuous improvement.Project manage video projects through Flocksy.Online Video
Manage and maintain CPCC’s online video presence and accounts (cpcc.church and YouTube)Create and implement Social Media reelsIncluding message and weekend recap reels
Video & Camera Gear
Ensure proper setup, operation, and care of video equipment.Manage and maintain video and camera gearManage and maintain a gear upgrade listTrain volunteers on related gearAdditional Responsibilities
Provide video and photo support at :Major church-wide events

Education
High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's in communications, media production, or related field preferred.Experience
Proficiency with professional video equipment and editing software.Strong storytelling skills and an eye for detail.Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to project needs.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Skills / Abilities
Visual Storytelling Expertise : Ability to tell stories visually, both on-location and in-studio, with strong scripting, directing, and editing skills.Strong Collaboration & Emotional Intelligence : Ability to build rapport with diverse teams, including video talent, artists, musicians, and teaching pastors.Creativity & Initiative : A proactive, flexible mindset with a continuous desire to improve their craft.Problem-Solving & Adaptability : Capacity to think quickly under pressure and solve issues in high-stakes situations.Organizational & Detail Orientation : Strong time management skills with attention to detail on tight deadlines.Technical Proficiency : Competence in Mac systems, Google Workspace, and professional video production software.WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Schedule / Environment
