Job Purpose
Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Building and Grounds, to maintain school building and grounds in orderly, neat, safe and operable condition.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Operates a standard transmission truck
- Operates mowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, and snow blowers
- Painting
Physical Demands
- Strenuous physical work including:
- Painting fields pushing 100lb paint sprayers
- Unloading 200-400 cases of food
- Unloading 800-1100 cases of paper goods
- Hauling brush and trash from buildings
- Ability to withstand heights and work in crawl spaces
Requirements
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Requires heavy lifting and moving of objects
- Clean driving record
