Job Opportunity: Employment Litigation Associate- New Jersey
Are you a skilled legal professional with a strong background in employment law? We are seeking an experienced Associate to join our team at highly esteemed law firm in New Jersey and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic work environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a defense-side employment law role, with a focus on litigation related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, accommodations, and other employment-related claims.
- Experience drafting personnel policies, employment agreements, and other critical documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Proven expertise in advising employers on key compliance matters, including leave of absence policies, performance management, wage and hour laws, and termination processes.
Desired Attributes:
- Strong academic performance in law school.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative and "own" your work and career growth.
- Membership in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar; admission to the New York State Bar is a plus.
