Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceuticals.
  • Perform financial modeling to analyze cost-effectiveness of medication distribution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on medication errors or discrepancies to implement process improvements.
  • Collect and research data related to pharmacy operations to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with the distribution center team to ensure timely delivery of medications.
  • Utilize analytics to monitor medication usage trends and optimize inventory levels.
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently during the production planning process.
  • Assist in training new pharmacy staff on operational procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
  • Experience in a pharmacy setting or healthcare environment is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to buy, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
  • Knowledge of materials handling principles and production planning processes is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
