- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceuticals.
- Perform financial modeling to analyze cost-effectiveness of medication distribution.
- Conduct root cause analysis on medication errors or discrepancies to implement process improvements.
- Collect and research data related to pharmacy operations to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with the distribution center team to ensure timely delivery of medications.
- Utilize analytics to monitor medication usage trends and optimize inventory levels.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently during the production planning process.
- Assist in training new pharmacy staff on operational procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
- Experience in a pharmacy setting or healthcare environment is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to buy, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
- Knowledge of materials handling principles and production planning processes is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
