We are currently looking for a full-time Optometric Assistant who is confident, self-motivated with a friendly, outgoing personality. Applicants must also be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-pacedwork environment.
Some responsibilities of the job include: Preparing patients for their examinations by taking a thorough medical history and performing needed preliminary testing; assisting the doctor during the examination and performing other tests and ancillary duties as prescribed by the doctor. Experience is a bonus, but not required as training is provided.
Job requirements: minimum typing speed of 45 wpm; able to work shifts ranging from 6:30 AM-6:30 PM. Eligible candidates must also qualify for Washington State Medical Assistant Registration. Healthcare mandate requirements apply.
