DESIGN PROJECT MANGER
Skills Required:
· High proficiency with AutoCAD (V 2024 or higher).
· High proficiency with 3D graphic development and presentations.
· Ability to create full construction documents for various residential, commercial and industrial building types.
· High proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
· In-depth knowledge of current California 2022 building codes.
· Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
· Exceptional leadership qualities and strong work ethic.
Education / Experience Requirements:
· High school graduate or G.E.D. required.
· Secondary/ Post-secondary Engineering or Architectural education is preferred.
· Minimum 5 years of experience as a design project manager, or similar position.
Description:
· The project manager will be the team lead responsible for developing the design and construction documents under the supervision of the Principal Engineer and Architect.
· The project manager will report directly to the Principal Engineer and Architect. This position will be responsible for the oversight of two or more AutoCAD technicians assisting with the production of construction documents and specifications.
· The project manager will meet with clients with or without the Architect or Engineer to receive input and present progress at various phases.
· The project manager will be the contact for the subconsultants and permitting agencies throughout the course of the project.
Compensation / Benefits:
· Compensation is commensurate with skill level and will be determined during the hiring process, ranging from $75-110K annual.
