Reporting to the Underground Foreman or Supervisor, you will carry out general labor tasks in the telecom underground construction sector. This role is located in Fairfield, Maine , with work assignments spanning the Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire regions.

Responsibilities : What You Will Do
- Familiar with, and understand the use of underground utility construction tools; use of jackhammers / chipping guns, compactors, shovels, and other hand tools
- If qualified, drive to and from job sites throughout New England as well as perform general construction labor at the job site including loading, digging, and placing underground cabling that would vary in size, shape, and weight.
- Conscientious regarding the safety of him / herself at times as well as the safety of every other crew member or individual on the job site
- Ability to make independent judgment and perform repetitive tasks
- Regular contact with co-workers and customers; work as part of a team environment
- Travel throughout the region with the Underground Crew, learning on the job
