Job Summary:
The non-CDL Driver will efficiently stock their 26' box truck and safely deliver products to our field tower crews in a timely and professional manner. Candidates for this position will be driving and delivering items for our construction crews in the Indianapolis, IN area. Candidates will also be cross trained in the warehouse for general warehouse duties when not delivering.

Responsibilities
What You Will Do:
- Operates a 26’ ft box truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
- Transports loads safely and in a timely manner obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.
- Ability to maneuver truck into loading and unloading areas
- Assists with loading and unloading of materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads empty skids and returns all equipment to designated area.
- Performs a VIR- vehicle inspection report on a monthly basis.
- Responsible for general organization of truck and cleanliness of truck both in and out
- Conscientious regarding the safety of him/herself at times as well as the safety of every other crew member or individual on the job site
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- Valid driver's license in good standing and ability to pass a DOT Physical.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years driving 26' box trucks, warehouse experience strong desired
- Experience using fork truck, order picker and hand trucks.
- Show up for work daily and on time.
- Experience with a forklift desired, but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, reliable and has the ability to prioritize.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
- Ability to use GPS.
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations.
- Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00a-4:00p.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to travel frequently.
- Environmental Conditions exposure is heat, cold, dust, wet, vibration and loud noise
