Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop lesson plans, deliver instruction, assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with Michigan curriculum standards
- Deliver instruction to students using a variety of teaching methods and techniques
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians on student performance and progress
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information
- Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver effective instruction
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability in response to the needs of students
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
