Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated Junior Exchange Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing both Office 365 and on-premise email systems, with a preference for those who have worked with Proofpoint. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our email infrastructure.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of Office 365 and on-premise Exchange email systems.
  • Support Proofpoint email security solutions to protect against spam, phishing, and other email threats.
  • Provide support to end-users for email-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems.
  • Implement and maintain email security policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of email communications.
  • Monitor email systems for performance, availability, and security issues, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of email backup and recovery processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of email system configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of email systems.


Education

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience

  • Experience with Office 365 and on-premise Exchange email systems.
  • Familiarity with Proofpoint email security solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who shows strong initiative
