Job Summary
Will oversee and manage the execution of our high voltage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and extensive knowledge of high voltage systems and construction practices. Develops plans for safe, cost effective, customer-oriented operations in a manner that complies with applicable codes and regulations. Coolaborates with engineering leaders to pilot innovate solultions to make our electric high voltage system more resilient and reliabile for our customers. Partners with corporate communications to provide customers with proactive communications on upcoming projects and develop new solutions to keep them.

Essential Functions
  • Lead and manage the team, including managers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative design solutions.
  • Partner with corporate communications to provide customers with proactive communication on upcoming projects.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
  • Prepare and present project reports as requested.
  • Collaborate with industry peers to stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Manages the development and implementation of strategic departmental plans, budgets, workforce plans, and productivity improvement strategies to ensure effective utilization of resources, efficiency of operations, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
  • Monitors and adjusts the operating budget for department in a consistent and efficient manner.
  • Assists employees, contractors and others with unusual or difficult problems arising out of the work performed by employees.
  • Interprets and administers policies and procedures as they apply to employees, customers and the general public.
  • Initiates the implementation of plans, policies, and procedures to monitor and interpret results to ensure that the company’s operations are in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Actively promotes positive safety attitudes and ensures safe working conditions.
Education Description
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university, or a combination of education that provides equivalent knowledge in addition to the required years of experience with electric operations or engineering if non-degreed.

Experience
  • Typically at least 10 years of prior years of experience in electric operations or engineering, including a minimum of three (5) years of experience as a supervisor or manager.
