As a Warehouseman, you will perform day-to-day activities in the receipt, storage, maintenance, and issues of stock and non-stock materials. Activities also include the transportation and delivery of material to satellite warehouses or jobsites as required and as licensed.
Basic Qualifications:
• High School or GED
• Valid driver’s license

Specifically, you’ll have the opportunity to:
• Issues material to contractors and users, accepts returns of material.
• Receives material by unloading trucks and inspecting material for physical damage.
• Ships material to other locations; prepares material, posts necessary logs.
• Transports material among various warehouses and other locations.
• Handles hazardous material in the manner prescribed by law and Company policy.
• Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, cranes, banding machines and other tools in a safe manner.
• Handles new and used equipment and materials in a safe manner; prepares repairable equipment for repair.
• Responds to emergency call out responsibilities 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. When working alone, the Warehousemen will be upgraded to a Material Handler.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse dock and yard area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Uses computer systems dealing with communication and various programs dealing with on-line company required courses.
• Upon system implementation, use a Barcode System to receive, store, pick and cycle count.
• Must be able to successfully complete all phases of the Warehouseman Training Program with a passing grade in each phase.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL within 6 months of employment.

• Physical material handling requirements are approximately 70 percent of a daily work shift which includes occasionally lifting material weighing up to 99 lbs, frequently lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 70 pounds, and regularly lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Able to push, pull, bend, stoop, maneuver, roll, lift, carry, reach, climb, hear, and see.
• Able to sit, stand, walk, and look up for extended periods of time.
• Able to perform work at above ground elevations.
• Able to use and care for personal protective equipment and common safety equipment (hard hat, goggles, gloves, safety belts, etc.).
• Able to safely operate power tools, equipment, and lifts.
• Able to maintain a body weight of 400 lbs or less.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL within 6 months of employment.

• Logistics/Warehouse/Material handling experience
• SAP
