Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:
The Pharmacy Delivery is responsible delivery of pharmaceuticals to patient’s home, and Centerpoint clinic locations.
Reports to:
Pharmacy Director/Chief Executive Officer
Principal Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet Centerpoint Health Center’s needs.
Communication:
- Daily contact with clients/families/guardians and Centerpoint Health staff. Must develop and maintain positive relationships with the above.
- Commitment to Centerpoint Health mission statement
- Ability to develop trust and effective working relationships with staff members, individuals, families, and external and internal professionals.
- Ability to organize time and prioritize efficiently and effectively
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for maintaining a positive image of Centerpoint Health to patients.
- Responsible for daily prescription delivery to patient homes and Centerpoint Health locations.
- Responsible for logging deliveries.
- Responsible for obtaining delivery signatures (when applicable)
- Responsible for proper use of coolers to maintain temperature requirements.
- Responsible for returning any undelivered product and checking in with Pharmacy technician to communicate any essential information.
- Responsible for the care and usage of Centerpoint Health’s cellphone and iPad.
Other requirements:
- Fosters productive and cohesive inter-office work relationships,
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment and waiting area for patients and staff,
- Communicates, monitors, & adheres to all HIPAA regulations,
- Adheres to all OSHA requirements,
- Attends staff meetings

- Communication 75%
- Lifting: up to 20 pounds occasionally
