What are the responsibilities and job description for the Artist/Instructor position at Centers for Multiple Sclerosis?
The Centers for Multiple Sclerosis has five MS Community Centers throughout Southwest Florida to serve its over 400 members. The Center is currently seeking an art instructor for its new North Naples site near Immokalee Rd and Quarry Dr.
The class is 90 minutes, one day per week, on Tuesdays at 12:30 pm.
The media utilized (acrylic, multimedia, watercolor, etc.) is flexible and the cost of supplies is covered.
It is important that the individual has the ability to encourage those who may not have full mobility and who will be kind and mindful in their accommodations.
This is an ideal job for a free lance artist, retiree, or a remote worker/teacher.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching art techniques to adults.
- Experience as an artist is required.
- A professional, compassionate, and pleasant demeanor is essential.
- Reliable and punctual with good organizational skills.
