What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at Centers for Youth and Families, INC?
Assists Program Manger with the overall management of the program, 24 hours per
Day and ensures maintenance of the therapeutic milieu via staff management
- Oversee MHT’s and HT staff
- Develop and Maintain residential staff schedules
- Ensures that applicable staff complete annual mandatory in-services and receive annual physical and TB skin test when due.
- Assists in staff recruitment and retention strategies.
- Ensures integration of MHT process and daily living activities in implementation of care/treatment plan.
- Interprets and ensures implementation of behavior management policies and procedures, e.g., points, rewards, level system, etc.
- Ensures preservation of residents’ rights with respect to group living.
- Takes Call
- Responsible for hiring of MHT and HT positions
- Monitor attendance and call ins of staff
- Respond to staff leave requests.
- Oversees program schedule.
- Oversee new employee orientation of core and pool MHTs
- Completes time sheets.
- Develops and maintains an updated orientation curriculum for new hires
- In conjunction with team leader, completes annual and probationary evaluations for staff supervised.
- Facilitate joint AC/CC direct care meetings.
Experience working in a trauma-informed setting with children or adolescents and their families
