Carthage Center is hiring a Porter in Carthage, NY.
DUTIES:
- Maintains the facility cleanliness by sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Removing and cleaning trash
- Refreshing bath areas by cleaning toilet, and sinks; refilling hand and toilet paper dispensers
- Maintaining furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning and wiping glass surfaces
- Keeping supplies ready by restocking housekeeping supplies throughout the facility
- Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting, preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
- Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
- Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- One-year experience minimum
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work as a team member
- Must be able to work weekends
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently
- Positive and upbeat attitude
