Job Responsibilities:
- Team Oversight: Direct and supervise company phlebotomists across multiple locations.
- Scheduling Coordination: Manage scheduling and placement of phlebotomists, handling call-outs and paid time off requests efficiently.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll and related issues for phlebotomists, including reviews of submitted hours and expenses.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory agency requirements through proper documentation, audits, and corrective actions.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality meetings and programs to maintain high standards.
- Talent Acquisition: Screen, interview, and hire new phlebotomy personnel as needed, providing orientation, training, and competency assessments.
- Disciplinary Actions: Perform necessary phlebotomy-related disciplinary actions when required.
- Daily Site Evaluations: Conduct regular site visits to meet with phlebotomists, clients, and review compliance-related items.
- Customer Service Excellence: Collaborate with sales and client services teams to ensure exceptional customer service and client retention.
- Phlebotomy Duties: Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, and lab-related paperwork duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is beneficial.
- Experience: At least 3 years of laboratory experience.
