Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team at Centers Laboratory. As a key member of our Mass Spec Department, you will be responsible for processing and analyzing urine and blood samples using LCMS, HPLC, and ICPMS based assays.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sample Analysis: You will process all testing of urine and blood samples for LCMS, HPLC, and ICPMS based assays as per standard operating procedures.
Operate and maintain LC/MS/MS, HPLC, and ICPMS analyzers, including instrument setup, troubleshooting, and validations. - Quality Control: Perform quality control and calibrations for each lab procedure on a daily basis.
- Department Support: Responsible for all Mass spec department duties, including sample preparation, reagent preparation, loading samples onto the machine, worklist generation, and data entry.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory results and procedures.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or related Life Science.
- Experience: 1 year of Toxicology experience.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, critical thinking with efficient problem-solving skills, and ability to manage and execute multiple projects.
