Phlebotomist Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced phlebotomists to join our team at Centers Laboratory of New Jersey. Our laboratory is dedicated to providing high-quality services to the community, and we strive for excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately identify patients using wristbands, documents, or visual identification
• Prepare patients for blood draws while following strict safety procedures
• Record keeping and labeling are essential duties to ensure correct tests are performed on the right blood specimens

Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent
• Phlebotomy Technician certificate preferred
• Completion of a hospital or major lab training program
• Understanding of standard blood drawing practices and procedures
• Good interpersonal skills and communication
• Able to work nights, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
