Job Description
Job Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing required (Clinical Nurse Specialist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner).
- One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in Psychiatric Nursing environment or mental health care environment is preferred.
- Must have or be able to quickly obtain prescriptive authority in Indiana.
Provide psychiatric services consistent with established guidelines for best practice interventions for adults, children and adolescents.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Supervisory Responsibilities: This job title does not supervisor others
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management
- Collaborate with treatment team members for medical supervision, utilizing advanced knowledge of psychopathology and psychopharmacology to assist clinical team members in diagnosis, case formulation, and choice of treatment interventions
- Maintain effective, collaborative relationship with Psychiatrists
- Regular and Reliable Attendance is required
- Meet billable hour productivity standards
- Complete clinical documentation within one business day of the service provided
- Complete treatment plans and other clinical service authorizations in a timely manner
