Summary of Job:
Responsible for working the aging for DCS payers. Aging will be monitored and services will be billed and re-billed appropriately within the time frame given. Position will also re-bill denials and service as back up to the posting position. Position will also be responsible for end of month refund process and end of month balancing. Position will be responsible for helping with billing other services as needed.

Three to five years administrative experience preferred. Some experience in billing and aging analyzation preferred.

Job Description
Summary of Job:
Responsible for working the aging for DCS payers. Aging will be monitored and services will be billed and re-billed appropriately within the time frame given. Position will be responsible for helping with billing other services as needed.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Supervisory Responsibilities for: This title does not supervise others.
- Responsible for running the aging on a weekly bases and checking all services older than 90 days for proof of billing.
- Responsible for making adjustments to services that are older than 120 days and maintaining a log of all adjustments.
- Responsible for re-billing services denied by DCS.
- Responsible for end of month refund process.
- Regular and Reliable attendance is required.
- Maintains a collaborative relationship with the Clinical leadership teams and the Support Services staff.
- Timely completion and accurate data entry of referral information.
- Timely completion of posting monthly payments received and processes any credits.
- Maintains a monthly balancing log of all payments and credits.
- Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
