What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at Centerville Baptist Children's Program?
We are continually hiring for qualified Early Childhood Substitute teachers for preschool, kindergarten, and childcare at Centerville Baptist Children's Program. Substitutes will implement developmentally appropriate activities and encourage the social, emotional, and spiritual growth of children while ensuring their safety.
Duties
Duties include staying within the guidelines of the Virginia Department of Education, the Code of Compliance outlined by the Virginia Commonwealth, and Virginia Quality Standards.
Requirements
Compensation based on experience. Schedule varies based on need. Early Childhood experience preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in early childhood education or related field
- Hold CDS or other associate's degree or higher
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification
- Current Medication Administration Training (MAT)
