Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to providing excellent customer service for our residents while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, including electrical components.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Use tools such as an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and basic electrical systems is preferred.
• Experience in supervising maintenance staff or projects is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.68 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
