Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice. This role involves managing nursing operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a collaborative environment among healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage CNA staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care.
- Monitor patient care practices to ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations.
- Oversee the administration of treatments and medications.
- Ensure that all staff are trained in basic life support techniques and maintain certifications as required.
- Perform New Hire orientation and collaborate on scheduling with CNAs and nursing staff.
- Address any issues or concerns related to patient care or staff performance promptly.
Experience
- A valid nursing license either LPN or RN
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Nurse Manager or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare standards and regulations related to patient safety and quality care.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage conflicts effectively.
- Experience in managing diverse teams and fostering a positive work environment.
