What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Technician position at Centerville Enterprises LLC?
We are currently seeking an Enviromental Services Specialist to join our growing team. This position may range between 30-36 hours per week. It is primary Monday-Friday with rotating weekends. The successful candidate will clean and disinfect restrooms, empty trash cans and refill paper towels, clean mirrors, disinfect high touch areas, sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets. You will also be responsible for setting up and cleaning equipment and cleaning any other areas needed at this site.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe environment for employees, vendors, and staff.
- Follow workplace rules and protocols.
- Restock and monitor supplies.
- Adhere to company standards for safety, security and quality of work; and environmental compliance.
- Complete the cleaning assignments in accordance with the specified schedule.
- Present a positive attitude and be willing to work with a diverse population.
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Be able to follow oral and written directions.
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bent, stand, or walk for extended periods of time.
- Proven experience in environmental services or janitorial roles, preferably in a hospital or commercial setting
- Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Ability to perform custodial tasks efficiently and effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour
