Responsibilities Certified Dietary Manager:
- Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff supervision.
- Ensure compliance with dietary standards, healthcare regulations, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain inventory and manage budgets efficiently.
- Train, mentor, and inspire dietary staff.
Qualifications:
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or current ServSafe certification required.
- Experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of dietary standards and regulations for long-term care.
