- Evaluate and direct speech/language pathology services to patients in their homes or facilities.
- Develop and review treatment plans with healthcare staff to ensure effective patient care.
- Administer diagnostic tests, interpret results, and develop therapeutic treatments to address disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing.
- Provide instruction and training to patients on alternative communication systems and counsel them on proper usage.
About You:
- You must have a Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA.
- A minimum of six months' experience as a speech therapist/speech-language pathologist is required.
- Home health experience is a plus.
