Occupational Therapist Role
An Occupational Therapist in our Home Health department will work with patients to develop rehabilitation programs tailored to their individual needs, focusing on daily living skills and community reintegration.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' daily living and work-related skills, developing therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and modify treatment plans, ensuring effective documentation of patient care.
- Provide therapeutic support, advocating for adaptive equipment to facilitate patient independence and quality of life.
Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- A minimum of six months of occupational therapy experience, preferably in home health.
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure, as well as CPR certification.
