Job Description
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary care teams. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to create tailored treatment plans, ensuring optimal recovery and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' communication abilities.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, incorporating strategies to promote communication and language development.
- Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, providing accurate results to inform patient care.
- Provide education and training on communication techniques and alternative communication systems.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to company policies and regulations.
Qualifications
A valid certification from ASHA and at least six months of experience as a speech therapist are required. Home health experience is beneficial. You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary setting.
