At CenterWell Home Health, we're dedicated to providing personalized care and support to our patients. As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals recover from injury, illness, or surgery and regain their independence.
Your Responsibilities
- Evaluate, direct, and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in the comfort of their own homes or facilities.
- Develop and periodically review treatment plans to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
- Utilize your professional expertise to assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing, minimizing their effects and promoting recovery.
- Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, apply therapeutic treatments, and observe patient progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare staff, and supervisors to ensure seamless care coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA.
- A minimum of six months' experience as a speech therapist/speech-language pathologist.
- Home health experience is highly valued, but not required.
- Current and unrestricted license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
