Summary:
As a Roofing Technician in the San Antonio/Austin area, you will be a vital part of our construction team, utilizing core skills in hand tools, construction, roofing, and power tools to execute roofing projects efficiently. With relevant skills in construction site work, and various construction tasks, you will contribute to the successful completion of roofing projects. Expect heavy lifting and a focus on quality craftsmanship in this dynamic role. Join our team and showcase your expertise in the roofing industry.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Install, repair, or replace roofing systems using hand and power tools.
- Perform construction estimating tasks for roofing projects.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks related to roofing materials and equipment.
- Ability to communicate with Manager, Project Manager and other Technicians.
Qualifications:
- General roof construction knowledge
- Knowledge of basic roof components.
- Roof repair experience
- Knowledge of ladder safety
- Must be comfortable working steep inclines and not afraid of heights
- Ability to manage a 40' ladder by oneself
- Must have dependable transportation with the ability to carry up to a 40' ladder.
- Punctual and dependable
- Self-motivated
- Ability to problem solve.
2 years plus roofing repair knowledge preferred with roofing systems and material knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
