What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Localization Tester (Chinese) (TX, CA) position at Centific?
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Tester proficient in Chinese language to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in QA or Linguistic Testing, along with fluency in English (written and spoken).
Key responsibilities include :
Onsite Lead Tester is responsible for the overall quality of their language at an account level, as well as being the main point of contact for Language Leads. The following is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities and areas of ownership for this role :
- Linguistic tasks
- Coordination of the linguistic team, like for example :
- Reviews copy and gives feedback to testers; communicates feedback received from client
- Supports testers in understanding corrections resulting from the arbitration process
- Acts as liaison for terminology, style issues, product features & questions
- Supports the onboarding of new testers
- Identifies linguistic-specific training needs for the language; creates, maintains, and delivers the linguistic training program
- Quality management planning and execution
- Client engagement
- Linguistic assets management
