Seeking a results-driven, innovative thinker with the following skills and experience:

  • High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent.
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
  • Comfortable using computers.
  • Experience working with customer support.
  • Knowledge of Centinela Feed product mix, preferred.
  • Experience working within a retail environment, preferred.

The Customer Service Representative/Human Resource blended position and the job responsibilities:


Below please find the Customer Service duties this candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels, including email, phone, website, etc.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
  • Knowing Centinela Feed products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
  • Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Below please find the Human Resources duties this candidate will be responsible for:

  • Deliver core HR transactions and services to Centinela Feed employees by effectively executing HR processes.
  • Provide departmental support by responding to internal and external customer inquiries.
  • Create and maintain departmental files including personnel, medical, staffing, and other files; ensure filing is kept up to date.
  • CalSavers account employee additions and deletions.
  • Schedule Roadie and FedEx check pickups.
  • Prepare employee new hire and separation notices/packages and related documentation.
  • Partner with Accounting to mail our coupon reimbursements via USPS.
  • Schedule meetings and interviews as requested.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, employee communications.
  • Birthday and Anniversary celebration logistics.
  • Order office supplies and review invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Book travel.
  • Assist with employee meetings and events.
  • Provide continuous improvement support of HR and payroll processes.
  • Other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Overview

We are hiring a customer service representative to manage customer queries and complaints. You will also be asked to process orders, modifications, and escalate complaints across several communication channels. To do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience working with computers.
