Centra has an opportunity for a Financial Inclusion Relationship Manager in Columbus, IN., area. The Financial Inclusion Relationship Manager is responsible for creating value through promoting Financial Inclusion growth within assigned region. This position builds relationships to educate and serve the unbanked, underbanked, and underrepresented communities by ensuring positive Member and Non-Member engagement. Applies Member Value Creation for Membership growth and contribution to achieving Financial Inclusion goals. This position does require the candidate to be fluent in Spanish / English. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : This position may be required to perform additional duties as requested. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.
- Promotes growth and development of Financial Inclusion services within assigned region. Performs activities to build relationships, educate, and serve the unbanked, underbanked, and under-represented communities and under-represented communities as well as continued efforts to reach the Latino Community, various Select Employer Groups (SEG), and school systems in accordance with Member Value Creation focused goals.
- Cultivates new Membership, lending and deposit growth opportunities through various community initiatives events and financial education workshops.
- Serves as subject matter expert to educate on Centra products and services and new account procedures and policies. Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
- Collaborates with lines of business to receive referrals and reports referral information for program tracking.
- Identifies and recommends opportunities for improvement to current Centra products to align with unbanked and underbanked communities. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE – (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered.) Associate's Degree in Related Field A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience Centra is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
