Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Team Member Experience Training Specialist in Columbus, Indiana.
The Team Member Experience Training Specialist is responsible for creating, implementing, assessing, training, and developing programs for Team Members. In addition, the TME Training Specialist assists the TME Training Manager with conducting compliance, soft skills, competency, and project training sessions while promoting efficiency and improving the skills of all Team Members to support Centra’s current and long-term business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: This position may be required to perform additional duties as requested. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.
- Responsible for the preparation, delivery, and assessment of training courses including, instructor-led, online, webinar, and blended learning events to accommodate participants in multiple locations, functions, and schedules.
- Evaluate participants’ success in reaching training objectives and recommend solutions for gaps or improve job competencies and skills.
- Handle administrative tasks that include scheduling classes, reserving rooms, preparing printed materials, and ordering supplies.
- Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of assessments, and retraining requirements.
- Empowers Team Members through communication, education, support, and teaching using resources that promote self-confidence in using and gathering information to carry out job responsibilities accurately and efficiently.
- Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the credit union’s values, culture, and leadership characteristics.
- Contributes and supports TME and other projects, events, and endeavors.
- Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
- Maintains ongoing communication with TME Manager and Director TME Training and Development regarding pertinent problems, irregularities, new developments, changes, and other important information.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - (EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED):
- Bachelor's Degree in Related Field
- A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory
experience
