Therapist for Children with Special Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a contract assignment at a school in New York.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with speech, hearing, and language deficits. They will work closely with patients to develop effective communication and swallowing strategies.

About the Role:

Key responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, providing skilled speech therapy services, evaluating patient progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or actively pursuing licensure
• Current CPR certification
• Proven experience working with children with special needs (ages 5-21)
