Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Westminster, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct daily living and vocational activities with patients to promote independence and self-care.
- Use adaptive equipment and techniques to facilitate patient participation in daily activities.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate with therapists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements:
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or equivalent experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 40 hours per week; 8-hour shifts, days only.
