Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced School Psychologist that is certified in the state of practice.
Responsibilities
- Provides appropriate and timely mental health crisis intervention services.
- Conducts comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for all initial referrals and reevaluations in accordance with federal, state and District guidelines and with best practices.
- Maintain a counseling caseload of students in compliance with Individual Education Plan (IEP) mandates.
- Record progress on all active cases and make appropriate recommendations as changes occur.
- Provides consultation on functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans for students exhibiting behavior problems.
- Provides individual and group counseling for students considered to be high-risk for developing serious emotional problems.
