A great School is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant / SLPA to join their growing team for a contract assignment! Responsibilities include : Implement Treatment Plans and Activities : Carry out individualized treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP to address students speech, language, and communication goals. Facilitate engaging and effective therapy activities to support student progress. Assist SLP with Assessments : Support the SLP in administering screenings, assessments, and evaluations. Help document and organize assessment results for review. Monitor Students Use of AAC Devices : Assist students in using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices effectively. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure devices are functioning properly. Maintain Clinical Records : Document daily session notes, progress monitoring, and data collection accurately and in a timely manner. Organize and maintain student records in compliance with school and regulatory standards. Prepare Clinical Materials : Create and organize therapy materials, visual aids, and resources for sessions. Ensure all materials are appropriate for students individual needs and goals. Collaborate with Classroom Staff and Related Service Providers : Work closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other service providers to support students communication needs in the classroom. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Requirements include : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field. Valid SLPA license / certification in PA. Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting is preferred. Knowledge of AAC devices and their implementation is a plus. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
